The Manhattan Rose Society holds meetings and events featuring informative programs with world renowned Rose Experts, Garden Tours, Dinners and more! Our meetings with speakers will continue to be virtual via Zoom for the foreseeable future. We hold our Annual Dinner meeting at a fine restaurant in Manhattan. We host private garden tours, a Wine & Roses event in the summer and our Annual Holiday Open House in December.
We publish at least 7 issues of our e-newsletter, Skyscrapers & Roses, per year.

Mission Statement
To study, foster, and encourage the culture and appreciation of roses in New York City and surrounding areas and also facilitate an enhanced appreciation for roses and rose culture writ large, by acting as a center for conversations and discussions on significant rose issues of the day, both nationally and internationally.

August Event: An Afternoon of Wine & Roses!
Saturday, August 8, 2026, 2:00pm – 5:00pm,
The Stone Cottage, Glen Cove, NY. $25 per person – members may bring 1 guest. This event is limited to 20, so reserve your place early! We are hosting a wine tasting, buffet lunch and a walk-through of Pat Shanley’s Rose Garden. We will be sampling a selection of wines and also a Zero-alcohol Champagne. So, there will be something for everyone!

- WE WILL CONTINUE TO HOLD VIRTUAL MEETINGS Via ZOOM. A link to the meeting will be emailed to all current members a few days before the event.
- Our Annual Holiday Open House, December 5th will be at the home of our Founding President. This is a members only event. Each member may bring two guests. Register for this event on the Storefront page of this website.

- SKYSCRAPERS & ROSES CONTINUES TO BE PUBLISHED in conjunction with our meetings and events!!
- There are no meetings scheduled for January and February. First 2026 meeting & newsletter in March.
